Simon Eugene started life in band called Out of my Hair, signed to RCA Records in the mid 90's. Times were good, the band recorded many great songs, the best known being In the Groove Again and Mr Jones. Known as Comfort, he had his own Manga Comic Strip in Japan. Then suddenly things got confusing, the band got dropped, storm clouds gathered. Comfort went solo, signed a new deal, released one more song, The Proof of You and recorded an album, God is in the Detail. Before it came out internal wranglings caused his record company to fall apart. Battered and bemused, Comfort stepped off the rainbow and into the gutter.
From there he wandered, searched, asked questions, saw worlds in different ways, reassembled, rearranged. He got involved in projects with WPT (Western Power Trip) before creating what he saw as it's natural counter balance, the International Love Corporation.
Now, for the first time, he is performing under his real name, Simon Eugene. He has created two films, one ready for release.
"I am primarily concerned with investigating and experiencing what is the nature of love."
